Responsibilities
- Collaborate on complex technical problems and contribute to software design and implementation.
- Translate requirements into engineering solutions, break down work, and create clarity for team members.
- Experiment with emerging AI-assisted engineering tools and cloud services and provide feedback from real-world testing.
- Deliver robust, reusable solutions that integrate with other teams’ workflows and products.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, propose improvements, and model engineering standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain high-quality codebases, and support technical documentation.
- Work on cross-functional projects and manage alignment and interdependencies.
- Coach and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of extensive experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI applications and their use in improving software engineering productivity.
- Experience building RAG systems with LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience developing microservices architectures on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Experience with agentic AI systems using AutoGen, SemanticKernel, Pydantic, or similar frameworks is preferred.
- Daily use of AI coding assistants and interest in researching new AI tooling are desirable.
- Knowledge of Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, Windsurf/Codeium, Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, LangChain, LangGraph, and Hugging Face is highly desirable.
