Responsibilities
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact problems and projects through analysis of complex business and system processes.
- Design applications in accordance with enterprise architecture standards and blueprints.
- Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards using advanced systems knowledge.
- Build and architect integrated solutions that address scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements.
- Develop web applications, APIs, web services, and backend systems using the required technology stack.
- Analyze issues, define solutions, and provide innovative recommendations using interpretive thinking.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage business, compliance, and operational risks while safeguarding the company, clients, and assets.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience with systems analysis and software application programming.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, REST APIs, multithreading, and Java/J2EE backend technologies.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience developing and architecting integrated solutions with scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements.
- Experience developing APIs and web services using REST and SOAP protocols.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL and Oracle or NoSQL platforms.
- Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containers, and Docker deployment.
- Understanding of standard and enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks including JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine, and Mocha.
- Preferred experience with high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience required; a master’s degree is preferred.
