Base Salary
$48k - $87k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of advanced electronic warfare systems within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Design, implement, and test real-time C/C++ software for multicore systems running Linux or real-time operating systems such as VxWorks.
- Use mathematics and communications libraries and interface with TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS protocols.
- Read and understand signal-processing algorithms written in MATLAB.
- Design, implement, and test software that configures and controls RF hardware devices.
- Integrate software with third-party frameworks and architectures such as Redhawk.
- Document developed systems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 0+ years of software development experience, including strong programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or C++.
- Experience with version control and continuous integration tools such as Git, Subversion, and Jenkins.
- Experience with software testing tools and methodologies, technical documentation, and hardware interfaces such as PCIe, UART, or Ethernet.
- Exposure to build tools such as GCC, CMake, or Make and understanding of object-oriented design, hardware-software interaction, and computer architecture.
- Understanding of unit-test frameworks and test-driven development practices.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret Security Clearance or higher, experience with GitLab or similar ticket/status interfaces, bash scripting, and software architecture and design.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
