Base Salary
$25 - $40/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in research programs focused on resilient communications, next-generation networking, security, and privacy in mobile platforms.
- Learn and work across smartphone hardware, kernels, drivers, firmware, frameworks, and applications.
- Design and develop custom software solutions for mobile phones and other resource-constrained platforms such as single-board computers.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of professional or academic software development experience using C++ or Java.
- Familiarity with standard Linux software engineering tools including git, gcc, and make.
- Eligibility and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a clearance up to Top Secret.
- Preferred qualifications include Android app development with Java or Kotlin, Android or mobile operating system development, network protocol development, Rust experience, and an active DoD Secret-or-higher clearance.
