Base Salary
$108k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features end to end from product and design conversations through development, testing, launch, and iteration based on real usage data.
- Build iOS features in Swift and SwiftUI, maintain UIKit surfaces, write view models, connect GraphQL services, and ship UI using the internal design system.
- Participate in weekly releases using feature flags, staged rollouts, and thorough senior-engineer code review.
- Develop high-visibility consumer features for jobs discovery, career events and fairs, and student profiles, including seasonal high-usage periods.
- Help build AI-powered experiences and use AI tools in daily engineering work while understanding all shipped code.
- Write unit tests for view models and contribute to acceptance-test coverage.
Requirements
- 0–1 years of professional iOS software engineering experience, or roughly 0–1 years of building iOS applications professionally or independently.
- Experience shipping real iOS software to users through an App Store app, internship or job, substantial public project, or TestFlight app.
- Working knowledge of Swift, view models and MVVM or similar patterns, networking, and asynchronous code.
- Ability to explain code structure, tradeoffs, failure points, and potential improvements, including code produced with AI tools.
- Initiative demonstrated through starting projects, iterating on feedback, or extending work beyond expectations.
- Clear communication in pull requests, design discussions, and when seeking help.
- Preferred: consumer app experience, SwiftUI and UIKit experience, GraphQL familiarity, unit or UI testing experience such as XCTest, Fastlane or similar CI/CD tooling, a live personal App Store app, and experience with analytics, experimentation, or user feedback.
