Responsibilities
- Design and execute extensible APIs and core platform services.
- Architect high-throughput workflow orchestration across multi-tiered service dependencies.
- Implement distributed caching, concurrency control, and state management for low-latency microservices.
- Define telemetry, dashboards, metrics, and alerting for mission-critical service availability.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams on technical standards, API contracts, and roadmaps.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and multi-phase engineering projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional full-time software engineering experience building scalable backend platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Java, C++, or Python.
- Deep understanding of high-throughput, low-latency microservice architectures, RESTful APIs, and gRPC/Protobuf.
- Hands-on expertise with advanced caching mechanisms, concurrency control, and distributed state management.
- Experience with workflow orchestration engines or complex multi-service dependencies is preferred.
- Familiarity with geospatial indexing, mapping, or geofencing libraries such as H3 and S2Cell is preferred.
- Expertise in telemetry, distributed tracing, performance monitoring, and high-concurrency production incidents is preferred.
- Exposure to large-scale data engineering pipelines or foundational machine learning concepts is preferred.
