Base Salary
$150k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement technologies and software patterns for Loft’s software stack.
- Lead the creation and evolution of AI tooling for development, code review, and spacecraft anomaly investigation.
- Develop core ground-platform functionality including workflow automation, microservice inter-communication, and metrics.
- Own the reliability and performance of platform infrastructure, including message queues, CI/CD, and observability.
- Participate in SatDevOps rotations to investigate anomalies and support real-time incident response when needed.
- Collaborate with software engineers and satellite operators to support consistent, maintainable, and performant software.
Requirements
- Solid backend software development experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of deployment and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to define and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with Python, Django, GraphQL, Graphene, message queues, streaming technologies, NATS, Helm, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, AI tooling, Vue, and Web Components.
