Base Salary
$198k - $293k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes container orchestration and supporting infrastructure across a global private cloud.
- Develop automation and tooling for provisioning, configuration management, operational workflows, and engineering self-service.
- Own availability and performance of critical platform systems and participate in on-call rotations.
- Drive incident response, postmortems, reliability improvements, and operational process improvements.
- Collaborate with platform engineers across regions and time zones to operate 24/7 infrastructure.
- Contribute to architecture, platform modernization, migration strategies, multi-region resilience, and infrastructure standardization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or software engineering.
- Advanced Linux system administration, networking, and security fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience at scale, including cluster operations, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with on-premises or bare-metal infrastructure, provisioning, hardware lifecycle, storage, and datacenter operations.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Bash and Python or Go skills, with the ability to build production-quality tooling and automation.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows.
- Nice-to-have experience in FinTech or regulated industries, Ansible, Puppet, HAProxy, Nginx, and infrastructure-as-code at scale.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $198,000.00-$293,000.00, plus equity, 401(k), health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
- Role is based in the San Francisco office with an expectation of working in-office at least 3 days per week on average.
