Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Deploy and manage applications on WebLogic and JBoss/WildFly application servers.
- Work in Linux/Unix environments for application deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Perform Bash/Shell scripting and automation for operational tasks.
- Build and maintain legacy Java-based ETL pipelines and troubleshoot data transformations and data pipelines.
- Analyze and resolve production issues across distributed, Linux, and mainframe systems.
- Support cloud migration and cloud-native development using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders and produce clean, maintainable, documented code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE and WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or WildFly application-server configuration and deployment.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and commands.
- Experience with Bash/Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience building or maintaining legacy ETL pipelines based on Java and legacy technologies.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integration.
- Knowledge of DB2 database development and performance tuning.
- Experience with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, or IMS.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Git or SVN and understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
