Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Open Telekom Cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner.
- Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scale cloud backend.
- Work hands-on with hardware and cloud infrastructure at the console.
- Develop and operate monitoring and quality-assurance solutions.
- Automate infrastructure and operations using common automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with specialists, platform partners, and other OpenStack ecosystem partners.
Requirements
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
- 5–7 years of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
- Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation.
- Strong experience with Linux and network-related services.
- High customer focus, technical solution-assessment ability, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of agile development processes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- OpenStack and programming experience in open-source projects are a plus.
