Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end firmware verification delivery from scoping and design through implementation, validation, and release.
- Drive verification implementation and validation while contributing to design specifications and technical proposals.
- Debug and resolve complex cross-component issues in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
- Develop verification requirements, test plans, and test cases with firmware engineering and verification teams.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate firmware functionality and stability.
- Track dependencies, risks, execution gaps, and progress with cross-functional stakeholders and drive issues to closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
- Experience with firmware verification and pre-silicon and post-silicon functional verification.
- Extensive verification lifecycle experience covering design, implementation, debugging, validation, and sustainment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, issue management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in firmware quality assurance concepts, best practices, procedures, and validation methodology improvement.
- Scripting experience with Python, Windows PowerShell, or Java.
- Experience operating Jenkins servers and writing pipeline scripts.
- Experience with virtual machine management and simulation or emulation environments.
- Proficiency with Jama, GitHub, and Jira.
