Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance Android user experiences using Kotlin, Java, and modern Android UI frameworks.
- Integrate on-device machine learning and generative AI solutions into Digital Wellbeing experiences.
- Design robust, privacy-preserving system-level solutions for behavioral and psychological challenges.
- Collaborate with UX Design, UX Research, Data Science, Privacy, core Android, and Kids and Families teams.
- Lead rapid prototyping, framework experiments, and technical architecture reviews through global launch.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and agile development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, such as Java.
- Experience with Android development.
- Preferred experience with Google app technologies.
- Passion for the digital wellbeing mission and interest in AI adoption.
