Responsibilities
- Design and build a high-performance rendering platform for interactive geospatial visualization and precision spatial editing.
- Partner with Design to define interaction models and deliver pixel-level visual and interaction polish.
- Optimize rendering latency using partial GPU buffer updates and custom shaders.
- Develop 3D spatial intelligence tools including line-of-sight analysis, signal-strength heatmaps, and AI-driven hardware placement suggestions.
- Own the client-side CRDT sync architecture, including the document model, local persistence, presence, offline-first editing, and conflict resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building complex customer-facing web applications or high-performance graphics engines.
- Mastery of JavaScript fundamentals and expertise with React and common state or data libraries.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, memory management, linear algebra, coordinate-system conversions, geospatial projections, and 3D geometry.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver pixel-perfect, high-performance user experiences and collaborate closely with Design.
- Preferred experience with Deck.gl, MapLibre, Three.js, WebGL, WebGPU, Yjs, Automerge, Operational Transforms, Canvas API, low-level buffer management, custom shaders, PostGIS, vector tiling, or GIS workflows.
