Base Salary
$185k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evolve the Design System by developing a centralized, reusable component library.
- Bridge the gap between Design and Engineering by translating design visions into interactive web components.
- Support and mentor engineers across 8+ product teams in implementing UI best practices.
- Champion accessibility standards across all shared components.
- Write automated tests and optimize UI rendering performance.
- Maintain documentation and usage guidelines for product teams.
- Contribute to the integration of the design system within the microfrontend architecture.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in front-end web development with a focus on UI/UX.
- Expertise in modern web technologies, specifically React and TypeScript.
- Proven experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Deep experience with documentation tools like Storybook.
- Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG).
- Experience collaborating with designers and understanding design tokens.
- Degree in Computer Science, HCI, or a related field.
