Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for Cisco ACI fabric deployment, management, monitoring, and automation features.
- Validate Cisco ACI fabric infrastructure, including leaf/spine topology, APIC controllers, and fabric initialization processes.
- Test integrations with VMware vCenter, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container networking interfaces.
- Ensure the quality of automation workflows and APIs used for fabric programmability.
- Improve test automation frameworks, infrastructure-as-code practices, software development processes, and lifecycle standards.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex network and software issues during development and in production systems.
- Review code and lead medium features or projects from technical design through completion when needed.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, estimate work, track progress, and communicate updates and remediation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years, master’s degree plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year of related experience.
- Solid conceptual and practical knowledge of networking products and experience with a range of technologies.
- Experience with data center networking protocols and technologies, including VXLAN, MP-BGP EVPN, and L2/L3 connectivity.
- Experience with Python, REST APIs, automation tools, test automation frameworks, and continuous integration processes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex network and software issues.
