Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Define business requirements and perform technical design and hands-on coding.
- Develop user-facing features, reusable code, and libraries.
- Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Validate user input and promote strong design and coding practices.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Design and implement product architecture and solutions focused on customer needs and successful implementation.
- Communicate complex problems and viable architecture and design approaches clearly.
- Improve the agile software development lifecycle through learning and best practices.
- Occasionally participate in customer demos and provide technical input.
- Optimize and automate mundane tasks.
Requirements
- 9+ years of engineering experience with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, SCSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency building user interfaces with React and its ecosystem, including React Router, server-side rendering, Context API, and React Hooks.
- Experience with Elasticsearch and Hadoop MapReduce is a plus.
- Familiarity with generative AI and native desktop applications is a plus.
- Experience with Webpack module federation and micro-frontend architecture is a plus.
- Web extension development experience is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of cross-browser compatibility and solutions.
- Backend development experience, preferably with Java.
- Experience building microservices with frameworks such as Spring and working with microservice architecture.
- Experience working in a fast-paced internet, product, or startup environment.
- Strong understanding of design principles and their practical application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
