Responsibilities
- Define and evolve technical architecture and engineering roadmaps for complex systems.
- Architect cloud-native, high-availability distributed systems and microservices with strong scalability, fault tolerance, and security.
- Influence engineering standards, best practices, and long-term platform strategy across multiple teams and projects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Design systems using multithreading, concurrency, parallel programming, and high-throughput processing.
- Make architectural trade-offs involving scalability, cost, latency, resilience, maintenance, and security.
- Write high-quality, performant, and maintainable code.
- Conduct deep-dive reviews of architecture, design documents, and critical code.
- Lead complex debugging sessions, performance optimization, and production incident resolution.
- Represent engineering in architecture forums and governance groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 12+ years of hands-on software development experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.
- 5+ years of expertise in .NET/.NET Core, C#, and enterprise-grade backend frameworks.
- Experience architecting solutions on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Expertise with relational and NoSQL data stores including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, DevOps practices, and production automation.
- Exposure to React, Angular, or Vue and front-end integration patterns.
- Understanding of observability, distributed tracing, structured logging, telemetry, and performance monitoring.
- Expertise designing scalable APIs, asynchronous workflows, and event-driven and messaging architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or EventHub.
- Strong problem-solving, systems-thinking, and complex technical decision-making abilities.
