Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design safe and efficient flight paths for Zipline aircraft.
- Build optimization algorithms for autonomous route execution.
- Account for weather, airspace restrictions, and dynamic demand in routing systems.
- Collaborate with autonomy and flight operations teams.
- Ensure low latency and high availability in routing services.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in building and maintaining production web applications.
- 3+ years of experience leading projects and mentoring engineers.
- Experience with low-latency, high-availability production services.
- Hands-on experience with path planning and optimization problems.
- Strong backend or distributed systems engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to work on ambiguous, high-impact problems.
