Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build microservices and APIs for the Control Plane using Node.js, Go, and Python.
- Develop customer-facing features and UI components with React.
- Own features end-to-end, from concept to production.
- Build systems for environment lifecycle management, including deploys and upgrades.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and customers to create impactful product capabilities.
- Enhance platform usability, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
- Define best practices for building application services on Astro Private Cloud.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on production systems.
- Strong experience in building backend services or microservices using Node.js.
- Experience with Golang or Python.
- Familiarity with modern frontend applications, preferably React.js.
- Experience in cloud-native environments like Kubernetes and AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like CircleCI.
- Knowledge of security best practices across the full stack.
