Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to deliver cloud-based solutions and define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Develop and operate software using multiple programming languages, databases, containers, orchestration services, and AWS tools.
- Provide technical leadership across teams by establishing design, development, coding, and operational standards.
- Identify performance and technical-debt improvements through refactoring and optimization.
- Mentor engineers, participate in technology communities, and influence long-term technology strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source contribution, frontend framework experience, API development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, AI coding tools, mentoring, observability, and leadership of cross-functional engineering initiatives.
