Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical-debt reduction, and distributed-system performance improvement.
- Influence long-term technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools and practices in a you-build-it-you-own-it environment.
- Mentor engineers and participate in internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, database and cloud experience, open-source framework contributions, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, AI-based coding tools, mentoring, observability, and cross-functional technical leadership.
- Preferred experience establishing coding standards and design patterns across teams.
