Responsibilities
- Lead the development and hands-on delivery of scalable, maintainable, performant software systems.
- Own technical solutions from development through production and act as an escalation point during and outside office hours.
- Guide a small team of developers in solution design and development.
- Apply governance to solution architecture and code quality while ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Manage work estimation and produce solution documents and technical documentation.
- Maintain understanding of system architecture, technical structure, and domain.
- Mentor team members, support pairing and code reviews, and promote knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or React.
- Proven experience building highly scalable systems, preferably in the cloud, with GCP valued.
- Proficiency developing customer-centric front-end solutions.
- Exposure to NoSQL datastores.
- Leadership experience within development teams and technical project delivery.
- Capability in technical leadership, mentorship, pairing, and code reviews.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Deep understanding of large-scale, highly available, multiuser, service-based systems.
- Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.
