Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise applications.
- Translate business and user requirements into robust, maintainable software solutions.
- Build integrated services and application components using backend and microservices architectures.
- Design and implement application integrations, APIs, and service-oriented solutions.
- Apply database design, data modelling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Build and integrate AI-driven capabilities into business applications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders on project delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Support reliable, repeatable, and efficient software releases.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous learning across multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.
- Proven experience developing object-oriented and backend application solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of application integration patterns, APIs, and service-oriented design.
- Expertise in database design, data modelling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience building and integrating AI-driven capabilities into business applications.
- Knowledge of generative AI concepts including Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, AI agents, and model integration patterns.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies and AI capabilities.
