Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor the engineering team in designing and delivering high-quality products.
- Develop services, APIs, middle-tier components, and web solutions across the technology stack.
- Evaluate architectural and non-functional requirements and work with the team on delivery.
- Build scalable, highly available, and high-performing software components.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Apply CI/CD and test-driven development practices using relevant testing frameworks.
- Work with containerization, messaging, and communications technologies.
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience developing services and APIs with C#, .NET Core, MongoDB and/or SQL.
- Strong web-development background with Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience developing HTTP-based APIs and RESTful services using JSON.
- Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development.
- Experience developing scalable, highly available, and high-performing middle-tier components.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Entity Framework Core, Web API, Google Protocol Buffers, and message queues such as RabbitMQ and SQS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a motivated, enthusiastic approach.
- E-commerce and/or financial-services experience is valued.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe ways of working.
