Responsibilities
- Lead projects or functional areas and domains within the Engine team and platform.
- Build new features and products from scratch in a configurable way for banks worldwide.
- Contribute to the banking platform and internal tooling used by engineers.
- Own projects and collaborate in small teams across the bank to deliver outcomes.
- Share knowledge and contribute to the engineering learning culture.
Requirements
- Backend software engineering experience and interest in building tools used by engineers.
- Most backend development is in Java, although expert Java experience is not required at joining.
- Ability to find elegant solutions to difficult technical problems and an interest in clean coding, simple solutions, automated testing, and continuous deployment.
- Aptitude, attitude, curiosity, and willingness to work across teams are valued more than specific qualifications or experience.
