Responsibilities
- Own specification, development, testing, implementation, and production support for complex Azure cloud-native applications.
- Design resilient and scalable APIs using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC and contribute to integration-led transformations.
- Containerize workloads with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Define infrastructure as code with Bicep or Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Implement observability, service health monitoring, capacity planning, launch reviews, and incident processes.
- Lead and mentor development teams, shape delivery practices, and engage with client technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong production experience with C# and .NET 8 or later, including software design patterns, SOLID, and test-driven development.
- End-to-end experience delivering and supporting Azure Platform as a Service solutions in production.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications to cloud-native Azure using AI-assisted tooling such as GitHub Copilot.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ideally Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and Bicep or Terraform.
- Experience working in collaborative agile teams in commercial, client-facing environments.
- Must obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance and have resided continuously in the UK for the last five years; some posts may be restricted to sole UK nationals.
