Base Salary

$118k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and support cybersecurity teams, technologies, and processes in an air-gapped classified cloud environment.
  • Perform vulnerability management, incident response, threat hunting, and threat detection.
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage systems in AWS or Microsoft Top Secret clouds.
  • Build and maintain investigation and response tools and manage vulnerability scans and remediation priorities.
  • Coordinate with federal customers and internal Cyber Defense teams to maintain consistency and develop best practices.
  • Drive multiple projects and priorities while managing operational responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical security consultancy, security operations, response, vulnerability management, threat detection, or threat hunting.
  • 2+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience.
  • Experience deploying, monitoring, and managing systems in AWS or Microsoft Top Secret clouds.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent job experience.
  • Strong knowledge of platform, application, cloud, network, and container security fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, attack methods, and mitigation options.
  • Experience with vulnerability scans, investigation or response tools, SIEM and SOAR technologies, and threat-hunting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, coordinate across teams, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities.

Benefits

  • Annualized base salary ranges from $130,200 to $195,400 for the primary Reston, Virginia location and from $117,800 to $210,000 for additional U.S. locations.
  • May be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
  • Flex Work requires at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, or partners.
  • The role supports U.S. Federal Government contracts and requires U.S. citizenship; it may require a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance, with active clearance preferred.
