Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Jenkins and manage build artifacts with tools such as Nexus.
- Support automated deployment and environment promotion for COTS or low-code applications such as Appian.
- Implement automated quality gates, including unit and integration testing, regression testing, and static code analysis.
- Integrate security scanning and compliance checks, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and container scanning, into delivery pipelines.
- Support secure AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure, including GovCloud regions, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or platform-native tooling.
- Support monitoring, log aggregation, alerting, performance testing, troubleshooting, incident response, backup, and recovery operations.
- Document configurations, processes, and security controls for audits, ATO activities, and continuous-monitoring evidence.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams in an Agile/Scrum environment and apply federal security frameworks.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must reside and perform work within the United States.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable federal agency background investigation or suitability determination.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or cybersecurity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, AWS or Azure, Linux, Windows Server, scripting, DevSecOps security tools, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Splunk, low-code or COTS platforms, and relational databases is preferred.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or other federal security standards is preferred.
- Entry-level certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Security+, or similar are preferred.
- An active federal security clearance or prior favorable federal background investigation and experience in a regulated or government environment are preferred.
