Base Salary
$112k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Agentic AI platform across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, observability, and runtime reliability.
- Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI with automated testing, quality gates, deployment controls, and release workflows.
- Operate Amazon EKS/Kubernetes environments, including cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, troubleshooting, RBAC, Helm deployments, pod identity, and GitOps-aligned workflows.
- Build and manage AWS infrastructure using services including VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, and KMS.
- Provision and manage infrastructure through OpenTofu/Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Operate monitoring, logging, alerting, service health indicators, and SLO-aligned operational thresholds using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
- Build synthetic and transactional monitoring for authentication flows, user journeys, and critical service transactions.
- Implement DAST and runtime security testing using tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp, and Nuclei.
- Support secrets management, least privilege, software supply-chain integrity, compliance, and audit evidence generation.
- Drive trunk-based development, merge-request-driven change, automated release controls, progressive delivery, and platform resilience improvements.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- A BS with 8+ years, MS with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure engineering is required.
- Deep CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI is required.
- Strong hands-on experience operating Amazon EKS/Kubernetes environments is required.
- Senior-level AWS experience with VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, and KMS is required.
- Experience building monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions at scale using CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, or equivalent is required.
- Hands-on OpenTofu/Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience is required.
- Experience with automated testing, DAST, security testing, SAST/SCA result triage, and pipeline gating is required.
- Experience building synthetic and transactional monitoring for real authentication flows and critical transactions is required.
- Strong security and compliance engineering experience, troubleshooting ability, systems thinking, and operational ownership are required.
- Preferred qualifications include BigBang/Platform One, Iron Bank, Sigstore/Cosign, ATO support, PACT contract testing, chaos engineering, canary or blue/green deployments, automated rollback, and NIST 800-171, CMMC, or FedRAMP environments.
Benefits
- The stated target base salary range is $112,000-$179,000.
- Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
