Base Salary

$190k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classified environments with customers and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain GitLab CI and Jenkins pipelines with integrated security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
  • Create CloudFormation infrastructure-as-code templates for highly available and secure DevSecOps tooling across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.
  • Troubleshoot complex system and application issues using Linux command-line tools, log analysis, root cause analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • Advise development teams on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO support.
  • Design secure Docker images and configure, optimize, and remediate OpenShift deployments, including Prisma security findings.
  • Conduct code reviews, document technical practices, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers on IaC and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • IAT Level 2 certification such as Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or a similar certification.
  • At least 7 years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role, including infrastructure automation, scalability, reliability, and delivery across classified domains such as IL5 and IL6+.
  • Expert experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and/or Prisma Cloud.
  • Strong experience with Python or Bash scripting in Linux environments such as RHEL or Oracle Linux.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Tier 1-3 customer support and ticketing systems such as GitLab Service Desk or ServiceNow.
  • Expert understanding of AWS capabilities including EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS, with experience architecting secure cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Hands-on experience configuring systems to comply with STIG and SRG requirements and applying security best practices.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and security frameworks or tools such as OWASP, NIST, and OpenSCAP.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with global enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
