Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of cloud infrastructure supporting high-performance SaaS applications.
- Build and improve automation for infrastructure provisioning, developer tooling, and internal workflows.
- Monitor system health and capacity and identify potential production issues to support SLA commitments.
- Embed security-first principles into infrastructure architecture, automation, and operations.
- Design and maintain operational administration, backup, disaster recovery, and performance/security monitoring systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally as a hands-on contributor.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Strong software development background with deep expertise in at least one programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes.
- Experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud automation tooling, preferably OpenTofu.
- Experience building fully automated CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, networking, and security, with depth in at least one area.
- Strong command of Linux systems.
- Bonus qualifications include experience with high-availability, multi-AZ, and multi-region environments; internal developer tooling; observability tooling; and distributed or microservice architecture.
