Base Salary
$193k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build web and desktop experiences for creating, organizing, sharing, and searching Quick Spaces.
- Design and develop features for Amazon Quick in collaboration with scientists and engineers within Amazon AI.
- Provide technical leadership for the definition, development, integration, testing, documentation, and support of AI Services.
- Drive software engineering, design, documentation, testing, reliability, and delivery best practices.
- Mentor engineers or lead engineering teams while delivering high-quality software on tight schedules.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
