Principal GTM Systems Architect

Responsibilities
- Design enterprise architecture for GTM systems and lead AI-powered workflows and agents using Salesforce Agentforce.
- Architect, build, and oversee advanced Salesforce solutions using Flow, Apex, custom objects, APIs, and platform capabilities.
- Own integration strategy and technical delivery across the GTM stack using Workato, Zapier, APIs, and webhooks.
- Use Claude Code and other AI development tools to prototype, build, test, and troubleshoot complex solutions.
- Design enterprise data models and scoring layers for customer propensity, ICP attribution, and lead and account scoring.
- Partner with GTM leadership to translate business goals into technical requirements and system designs.
- Mentor GTM engineers and administrators and establish practices for code reviews, sprint planning, documentation, testing, and deployments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Business Systems Architecture, or a similar advanced technical role.
- Expert hands-on Salesforce architecture experience, including complex data modeling, API integrations, advanced automation, and security frameworks.
- Experience leading technical projects and architecting solutions across a multi-platform GTM technology stack.
- Deep expertise in object-oriented programming with Apex, Python, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with Workato, Zapier, JSON, REST APIs, and middleware-based enterprise integrations.
- Experience designing or configuring advanced AI solutions such as Salesforce Agentforce.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous executive requirements into technical blueprints.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills with a record of driving system adoption.
- Preferred Salesforce Architect certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect.
- Preferred expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, Model Context Protocol, tool calling, RAG, semantic search, Git, Gearset, Salesforce CLI, Clay, LeanData, Gainsight, ZoomInfo, 6sense, or Clari.
- Preferred experience with signal-based selling strategies and enterprise-scale propensity modeling.
