Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software components in modern C++ with focus on memory safety, concurrency, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to responsible AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, LLM APIs, and prompt engineering while maintaining code review, testing, security, and quality standards.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, debugging, backlog prioritization, estimation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and distributed application components in cloud and enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze performance bottlenecks, and improve reliability in Docker- and Kubernetes-based environments using AWS or Azure.
- Use Python, Java, or C# for scripting, automation, integration utilities, and interoperability with existing enterprise systems.
- Work with messaging, databases, search, and data technologies including Apache Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on production development.
- Strong modern C++ experience, including C17/C20, object lifetimes, memory management, templates, concurrency, exception safety, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience building APIs, services, and distributed application components with secure coding practices, automated testing, maintainable design patterns, and AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and systems fundamentals.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development or AI-enabled product features, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, prompt engineering, and validation of AI-generated code.
- Exposure to LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG concepts, vector databases, or AI-powered search and automation use cases.
- Experience with distributed technologies such as Apache Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or PostgreSQL and with designing high-throughput data flows, queries, and messaging patterns.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting containerized services in cloud environments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and experience collaborating in Agile product development teams.
