Base Salary

$200k - $275k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Corporate/Expansion sales team as the technical expert.
  • Educate customers on Okta’s identity solutions and demonstrate their value.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored product demonstrations.
  • Lead technical engagements and deliver complex Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Share customer feedback with product teams to influence enhancements.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to better position Okta.
  • Represent Okta at marketing events, including conferences and trade shows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering and solution selling.
  • Deep understanding of identity protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure/Entra, and GCP.
  • Experience with REST APIs and SDKs.
  • Hands-on experience in front-end or back-end development, scripting, or DevOps.
  • Understanding of identity-related cybersecurity topics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven skills in territory management and pipeline building.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
