Responsibilities
- Design and build ABAP Cloud applications embedding LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes.
- Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using RAP, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, AI services, and enterprise APIs with SAP applications.
- Build agentic workflows involving tools, planners, memory, orchestration, and evaluation loops.
- Develop retrieval pipelines using SAP and non-SAP data sources, including business objects, CDS views, documents, and events.
- Implement chunking, indexing, embeddings, context assembly, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, authorization controls, and observability.
- Prototype AI solutions, incorporate business feedback, and move them into enterprise-grade SAP production systems.
- Continuously refine prompts, AI behavior, orchestration strategies, performance, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Required expertise in SAP ABAP Cloud, including RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications.
- Experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions.
- Experience with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, and cloud services is beneficial.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks or custom orchestration logic is beneficial.
- Exposure to vector databases, search, or semantic indexing is beneficial.
- Knowledge of enterprise security, authorization, and compliance patterns is beneficial.
