Base Salary
$149k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop customer-facing web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Translate complex workflows and design systems into responsive interfaces, interactive data visualizations, and telemetry tools with UX/UI designers.
- Build and scale low-latency REST and gRPC microservices in Python and Node.js/TypeScript.
- Establish testing strategies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to prevent regressions and ensure reliable releases.
- Collaborate with ML researchers, data mining engineers, and platform teams to deliver product features.
- Mentor engineers on full-stack practices and communicate architectural strategies to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building and scaling production web applications.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, REST, and gRPC services.
- Experience designing high-performance APIs and managing AWS infrastructure with EKS, Lambda, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
- Experience establishing automated testing pipelines using tools such as Cypress or Playwright and maturing CI/CD practices.
- Experience collaborating with UX designers, ML engineers, and data teams to build intuitive technical tools.
- Preferred experience includes autonomous vehicles, robotics, real-time spatial or sensor data, product design or UI/UX, 3D visualization, Canvas, WebGL, 3D math, linear algebra, developer tooling, log ingestion, telemetry viewers, or data annotation systems.
