Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end agentic systems including retrieval, orchestration, inference, evaluation, and feedback loops.
- Shape the architecture across model interfaces, data pipelines, vector databases, and streaming infrastructure.
- Prototype, test, and launch AI-driven features in collaboration with product and design teams.
- Continuously optimize system performance through fine-tuning and data iteration.
- Engage with sales and customers to gather feedback and improve product features.
- Build infrastructure and tools to enhance company-wide efficiency.
- Hire, mentor, and collaborate with engineers focused on craft and impact.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience building AI or ML-powered systems in high-growth or early-stage environments.
- Experience shipping real products that utilize LLMs, retrieval, orchestration, or streaming inference.
- Full-stack capability, comfortable with modeling, infrastructure, and product-facing code.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building systems and teams from scratch.
- Ability to clearly explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership in fast-paced environments.
- Bonus: Experience with vertical software businesses or agentic AI systems.
