Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features from user experience through backend code.
- Build scalable server-side web applications using Node.js and apply asynchronous, event-driven architecture.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and work with database systems and data models.
- Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate across teams, and contribute to technical and team decisions.
- Lead efforts to implement engineering best practices that improve productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience.
- At least five years of experience with Node.js.
- Proficiency in Node.js and experience with server-side development and scalable web applications.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Knowledge of database systems and data modeling.
- Ability to use version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- 15 years of full-time education.
