Software Development Engineer-AI/LLM Network-Global Frontier Tech Research Program-2027 Start (PhD)
ByteDanceResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy high-speed network technologies supporting AI and LLM applications.
- Develop platforms and systems for monitoring, analysis, and diagnosis of large-scale AI and LLM networks.
- Research and develop high-performance AI communication frameworks and network protocol stacks.
- Optimize host-network-application co-design to improve AI and LLM network scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build deployable AI network infrastructure for large-scale heterogeneous network hardware.
Requirements
- Be completing or have recently completed a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer networking and network programming.
- Demonstrate proficiency in one or more mainstream programming languages, including C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Be familiar with high-speed network systems, including RDMA, congestion control, and AI network optimization.
- Experience developing high-performance communication frameworks such as NCCL, MPI, or RPC libraries is preferred.
- Experience developing software systems for AI network diagnosis and performance optimization is preferred.
- Be available to start onboarding by the end of 2027 and state availability and graduation date clearly in the resume.
