Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable integration platforms and data flows across systems.
- Develop native connectors to HRIS, ATS, payroll, CRM, and ERP APIs, handling authentication, pagination, rate limits, webhooks, and schema changes.
- Design and monitor data pipelines and orchestrated workflows involving scheduling, retries, sequencing, and partial-failure handling.
- Improve integration performance and transform sync failures into clear, actionable feedback for customers and Customer Success.
- Work across Go, Temporal, Python, and frontend systems to improve the Data Hub and customer-facing integration experience.
- Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineering, Implementation, Customer Success, and other engineering teams.
- Establish integration patterns, documentation, governance standards, and error-handling conventions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of building and shipping production software with solid backend fundamentals; Python and/or Go preferred.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining third-party API integrations, including REST/SOAP, webhooks, OAuth, API keys, pagination, rate limiting, and upstream schema changes.
- Experience with data pipelines and workflow orchestration, including scheduling, retries, sequencing, and monitoring.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to reason about data models and transformations.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, CRM, or ERP systems and their data models.
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Frontend experience with TypeScript and React or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with iPaaS tools such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray.io, or Celigo is a plus.
- Experience with Temporal or Airflow and large-scale file-based ingestion using SFTP, CSV, or flat files is a plus.
- Experience handling sensitive employee or compensation data and applying security and privacy practices is a plus.

- Competitive compensation of $125,000-$148,000 CAD per year, excluding equity and other benefits.
