Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party financial systems.
- Solve data mapping and synchronization challenges across systems with different schemas and constraints.
- Develop scalable backend capabilities for data orchestration.
- Own backend features and services from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Build reusable integration infrastructure, patterns, and tooling.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, design, and engineering teams to deliver reliable customer experiences.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of backend engineering experience shipping reliable, well-tested systems.
- Strong backend fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, concurrent systems, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational databases and distributed systems concepts.
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems, take ownership, and work with autonomy.
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionally.
- Interest and experience using AI tools and prompting in engineering workflows.
