Responsibilities
- Conduct functional, UI, integration, regression, sanity, and end-to-end testing of application features, workflows, data flows, and integrations.
- Review requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs for completeness and testability.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, regression packs, and reusable automation suites.
- Build, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Selenium and Python.
- Perform API testing with Postman and JMeter to validate integrations, reliability, and performance.
- Manage defects using JIRA and X-Ray and support timely resolution and prioritization.
- Maintain QA governance, test coverage, documentation, test data, environment readiness, and audit compliance.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation plans, improve testing processes, and use observability tools and logs to reduce defects.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD workflows with Platform Engineering and DevSecOps.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, product design reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
- Lead small QA pods when required and drive clarity, alignment, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on QA engineering experience covering manual and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of functional, UI, integration, and regression testing.
- Proficiency in API testing and test automation using Selenium and Python.
- Experience with JIRA, X-Ray, Git, and observability platforms.
- Understanding of QA governance, risk-based testing, and proactive defect prevention.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead small teams, work independently, learn new tools, and operate in a dynamic environment.
