Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Develop and execute automated web UI, API, and end-to-end tests while maintaining Selenium-based automation frameworks.
- Design test strategies, identify test scenarios and edge cases, and expand automated coverage.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing and provide actionable execution reports.
- Debug application defects and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.
- Contribute to test strategy, quality metrics, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Strong automation testing background with hands-on Playwright experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java, with Selenium WebDriver and Java experience requested.
- Experience implementing Page Object Model, framework design patterns, data-driven testing, and behavior-driven testing.
- Experience with REST API testing using Playwright API Testing, Postman, and preferably REST Assured.
- Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch, optimizing test execution, and implementing parallel execution, reporting, and logging frameworks.
- Exposure to Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Docker is advantageous.
- Exposure to SQL queries and data validation techniques.
- Experience with Cucumber, JMeter or k6, Azure or AWS, accessibility testing, security testing, and AI-assisted testing tools is advantageous.
