Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and implement Azure cloud solutions, platform projects, proofs of concept, and production deployments.
  • Support migration of on-premise workloads to Azure with attention to resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Build and optimise Azure DevOps YAML-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality checks.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Git-based workflows.
  • Create automation scripts with PowerShell and AZ CLI.
  • Contribute to cloud governance covering networking, identity, security, tagging, and operational processes.
  • Maintain monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, documentation, and operational reliability for cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with application architects, developers, product managers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced developers and support capability development across teams.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services in a DevOps environment.
  • Advanced experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including YAML.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling.
  • Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and AZ CLI.
  • Understanding of cloud governance, security, networking, identity, RBAC, and resource organisation.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles including automation, observability, GitOps, and continuous delivery.
  • Experience supporting cloud migrations from on-premise environments.
