Responsibilities
- Design and implement application logic in Java.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Develop maintainable, testable, scalable, and secure code for high-performance applications.
- Collaborate with teammates, manage time, and contribute to project goals.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and apply software development best practices.
- Support information security by following Mastercard policies, protecting information, reporting suspected breaches, and completing required training.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills and deep knowledge of Java version 8 or later, data structures and algorithms, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, microservices, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Oracle, scripting, observability, and application performance monitoring.
- Experience with code coverage and application security tools including Sonar, Black Duck, and Checkmarx.
- Experience with source control systems such as Bitbucket and GitHub.
- Knowledge of unit testing and mocking frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or EasyMock.
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience working with high-performance applications and functional and non-functional requirements.
- Desirable experience includes AI models, REST Assured, Selenium WebDriver, IBM ILOG/ODM, Pivotal GemFire Grid, and Angular.
- Strong organizational, diagnostic, creative problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
