Responsibilities
- Develop, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software according to Mastercard standards and processes.
- Create secure and scalable software solutions from technical requirements and design artifacts.
- Research and evaluate technical solution alternatives, technologies, and frameworks for business needs.
- Perform feasibility studies, logic designs, systems flowcharting, input-output flow analysis, and cost and time analysis.
- Work with project teams to meet scheduled due dates, identify emerging issues, and recommend solutions.
- Perform production incident management and participate in the on-call pager support rotation.
- Document software programs and follow quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Support documentation updates, standards and process improvements, and collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Up to three years of experience in software engineering.
- Knowledge and understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication, relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure with initiative, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse, geographically distributed, matrix-based project team.
- Ability to follow information security policies, protect confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete required security training.
