Responsibilities
- Build and evolve software focusing on platform functionalities for other teams.
- Produce scalable, efficient, and secure APIs as a P2 level engineer.
- Utilize frontend skills to create effective components in React.js.
- Design and enhance the system architecture for Checkr's Screening products.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to influence and execute technical designs.
- Communicate effectively with engineers across Checkr who depend on your functionality.
- Write technical documentation on how to interact with your developments.
- Implement steps in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage version control using Git.
- Help identify and resolve bugs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in Ruby, JavaScript (React.js), HTML, CSS, HTTP protocols, and Regex.
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
- Availability to work hybrid 3x2 in Santiago.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including relational databases, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with TDD, DDD, functional programming, and object-oriented programming.
