Responsibilities
- Build and own content knowledge platforms and algorithms that create high-quality experiences for millions of Roku users.
- Design and implement machine learning models for entity matching, data deduplication, content summarization, and metadata quality.
- Develop and maintain deep learning models for data quality checks, visual similarity scoring, and content tagging.
- Create KPI measurement frameworks to evaluate the quality and performance of machine learning and Generative AI models.
- Deliver products that meet performance, security, quality, and stability requirements.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience applying machine learning and Generative AI to concrete problems at large scale.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and ability to design algorithms for real-world challenges.
- Expertise in deep generative models, transformers, tree-based methods, and sequence-based models.
- Familiarity with NLP architectures such as BERT and GPT and vision approaches such as ResNet, EfficientNet, and CLIP.
- Experience with big data systems, streaming architectures, scalable data pipelines, and programming in Java, Scala, or Python.
- Track record of building and deploying production machine learning systems, including Generative AI and Vision Model pipelines.
- Knowledge of system architecture and state-of-the-art vision models for image classification, object detection, and multimodal learning.
- Required MS in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; PhD in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
