Responsibilities
- Build a data science platform covering VM provisioning, dataset access, feature store capabilities, and model registry infrastructure.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, monitoring practices, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Provide AWS technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation, processes, and best practices.
- Stay current with cloud technology developments and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Fluency in Python and comfort with infrastructure-as-code.
- Good knowledge of at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- General knowledge of computer science and familiarity with cloud computing.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and best practices is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform is preferred.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
