Responsibilities

  • Build a data science platform covering VM provisioning, dataset access, feature store capabilities, and model registry infrastructure.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, monitoring practices, and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Provide AWS technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation, processes, and best practices.
  • Stay current with cloud technology developments and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Python and comfort with infrastructure-as-code.
  • Good knowledge of at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • General knowledge of computer science and familiarity with cloud computing.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and best practices is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform is preferred.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
